- General Issues
• This supersedes all previously published material; we are not responsible for typographical errors. Subject to change and amendment without notice.
• All accounts that are past due are subject to a service charge of 2% per month or 24% per annum on unpaid balance.
• If collection is necessary, buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorney's fees.
• Prices subject to change without notice.
• Tritronics has published a privacy policy to demonstrate our committal to your personal information confidentiality.
- Parts Catalog and Purchasing
• Tritronics is not responsible for manufacturer's part substitution.
• Exact replacement parts will only be substituted by parts specified by the original manufacturer.
• Tritronics makes no warranty to the application or suitability of non-original parts and accessories. Use at your own discretion.
• We reserve the right to substitute a catalog item with a product of equal or better quality.
• We offer no support or advice for part applications or servicer repairs. Tritronics is strictly a replacement parts distributor.
- Damaged or Defective Merchandise
• You must inspect all packages when received and before signing for it. If you receive a package that appears damaged, or contains merchandise that is damaged, you must first notify the shipper and we must be notified within two days of receipt (same or next day). The incident will be documented, and the shipper may decide to return the delivery to us. Without the incident documentation, subsequent damage claims may be difficult or impossible to prove later!
• Items received new defective (DOA) will be exchanged for a same or like replacement. If you choose not to exchange the part there will be a 25% restocking fee charged. Also read shipping policies below.
• Merchandise defective warranty is strictly limited to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions, if available.
- Merchandise Returns
• All merchandise returns MUST be accompanied with a Return Authorization Number AND a copy of the order invoice.
• If the Return Authorization Number is not clearly marked on the outside of the shipping container, the package will be refused and sent back at your expense.
• All mechandise return requests must be made within 30 days of invoice date.
• All damaged merchandise claims (damaged in transit) must be made within 2 days of receipt of goods (same or next day).
• Special order (non-stock) parts are not returnable.
• Parts ordered by description are not returnable.
• Literature (instruction manual, service manual) is not returnable.
• Remote controls, cables, battery chargers, batteries, and all other accessory items are not returnable.
• Universal or general application parts and accessories are not returnable.
• All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee (subject to change without notice).
- Shipping and Handling
• Merchandise shipping and handling is a costly and necessary service. Invoicing must be prepared, the merchanise located and packaged securely. The shipping company then picks up your package, coordinates shipment and delivers your goods.
• Shipping and handling charges are not adjusted or refunded by Tritronics for any reason.
• Tritronics is not responsible for freight on defective or return products.
• Shipping delivery time guarantees are based on ideal conditions. All guarantees are void if delayed due to weather, electronic or mechanical breakdown, acts of war/terrorism, unexpected transportation system delay or shutdown, or if the package is not-deliverable (as determined by the shipper).
• See "Damaged or Defective Merchandise" above for information regarding merchandise damaged in transit.
• Under normal circumstances, Tritronics does not charge additional shipping and handling for non-stock or backordered parts. The exception is if the merchandise is very large (like a projection TV screen, or a large cabinet part), heavy (like a picture tube), requires special handling and insurance (glass, ceramic, precision instruments, projector lamps), shipping ouside of the continental United States, or has been specified for express or special delivery by the customer.
